The Shoei RF-1400 Knee Down is a premium full-face motorcycle helmet built for comfort, protection, quiet performance and excellent airflow. Its lightweight, aerodynamic shell provides a stable and comfortable ride.

Aerodynamic and Quiet Design

Wind-tunnel testing helped reduce drag and lift compared with the RF-1200. The streamlined shell, redesigned shield and airtight seal help reduce wind noise and improve stability at higher speeds.

Thicker cheek pads and removable ear pads provide additional comfort and noise reduction.

Strong, Lightweight Construction

The shell is made from layers of fiberglass and lightweight organic fibers for strength, flexibility and impact protection. A dual-layer, multi-density EPS liner adds protection while allowing cooling air to move through the helmet.

CWR-F2 Shield System

The CWR-F2 shield provides a clear, distortion-free view and blocks 99% of harmful UV rays. The shield system allows quick and smooth shield changes.

A first-position opening improves ventilation and helps reduce fogging. The included Pinlock EVO insert provides additional fog protection.

Comfortable Interior

The removable and washable Max-Dry interior absorbs and dries moisture faster than traditional nylon. Soft, multi-layer cheek pads provide a secure fit, added stability and reduced noise.

Optional interior pads are available in different sizes for a customized fit.

Ventilation

Multiple front intake vents bring cool air into the helmet, while four rear exhaust outlets release hot air. The large chin vent is easy to operate while wearing gloves.
