The Shoei RF-1400 combines premium comfort, strong protection, quiet performance and a sleek aerodynamic design. Built on decades of Shoei helmet development, it is lightweight, well ventilated and designed for everyday street riding.

Aerodynamic Design

Wind-tunnel testing helped Shoei reduce drag by 4% and lift by 6% compared with the RF-1200. Its compact shell improves stability, airflow and comfort at speed.

Quiet Ride

The aerodynamic shell, redesigned shield and tight window seal help reduce wind noise. Thicker cheek pads and removable ear pads also create a quieter, more comfortable ride.

Strong, Lightweight Construction

The shell is made from layers of fiberglass and lightweight organic fibers for strength, flexibility and impact protection. A dual-layer, multi-density EPS liner provides additional protection while allowing air to move through the helmet.

CWR-F2 Shield System

The RF-1400 uses Shoei’s CWR-F2 shield system for quick and smooth shield changes. The shield provides a clear, distortion-free view and blocks 99% of harmful UV rays.

A first-position opening improves airflow and helps reduce fogging. The included Pinlock EVO insert provides added fog protection and a wider field of view.

Comfortable Interior

The removable and washable Max-Dry interior absorbs and dries sweat faster than traditional nylon. Soft, multi-layer cheek pads provide a secure fit, better stability and reduced noise.

Ventilation

Multiple front intake vents direct cool air into the helmet, while four rear exhaust outlets remove hot air. The large chin vent is easy to operate while wearing gloves.
